Who is the biggest Superstar of Bollywood?

Many people wonder who is the biggest Superstar in the Indian film industry. Amitabh Bachchan was the Superstar in his golden age. Has Ranveer Sing become bigger Superstar than Amitabh Bacchan?

Amitabh was probably only one superstar in the Indian film industry. No other actors have ever come close to Amitabh in popularity. It is true, he delivered many flop movies but his popularity has never been in question.

When Amitabh Bachchan was wounded during the shooting of movie Coolie, there was like national mourning in India. Hindus were praying in temples, Muslims were praying in mosques. Also in other parts of the world , people were praying. I saw the scene. Sometimes it crossed my mind if Gandhi was so popular like Amitabh. Amitabh could easily be the top politician if wanted.

Now Amitabh Bachchan is 77 years old. Veteran followers like me watched Amitabh’s movie in the cinema halls during the 80s. I have Ranveer’s movies too. I can remember Amitabh was far more popular than Ranveer.
